After his successful "Utopia" or "Circus Maximus Tour", American rapper Travis Scott will potentially join the famed list of stars at Coachella 2025. The gig that has been in the making for 5 years will finally happen as Scott has earned a special guest spot at the music festival as per TMZ HipHop. 

On his previous tour, the rapper performed his new album "Utopia" in cities around North America, and Europe. Now, he is set to join a stacked slate of performers, with Post Malone headlining the Sunday night slot along with Lady Gaga and Green Day. 

Through the course of Scott's music career, he has amassed a massive fan following and massive net worth which is backed by endorsement deals and an expensive car collection. However, he has been involved in controversies as well with the latest being his last performance, in which 10 spectators died due to a stampede caused by a surge of spectators.

    Scott's album "Astroworld" (2018), won Best Rap Album at the Billboard Music Awards and was nominated for the same category at the Grammy Awards. Its hit single "Sicko Mode" held the number-one spot on the Billboard Hot 100 chart.

    Scott was born Jacques Berman Webster II, in Houston, Texas and as a child, he lived with his grandmother in South Park, Houston. He then moved to Missouri City and graduated from Elkins High School to enroll at the University of Texas San Antonio. However, he dropped out his sophomore year to pursue a music career.

    He formed the music duo "The Graduates" with long-time friend Christ Holloway and released their untitled first EP on Myspace in 2008. He continued to work underground he moved to Los Angeles to further his career.

    He released his solo full-length project, a mixtape titled "Owl Pharaoh," which was delayed due to sample clearance issues. It was released in May 2013, on the iTunes store. The turning point in Scott's career came with his first studio album "Rodeo" which was released in September 2015. It featured guest appearances from artists like Quavo, Juicy J, Kanye West, The Weeknd, Swae Lee, and Justin Bieber, among others. The album was well-received both by critics and fans, debuting at number three on the US Billboard 200 chart.

    After the release of his second album,  "Birds in the Trap Sing McKnight" and "Huncho Jack, Jack Huncho,"  Scott hit a new career high with his fourth album "Astroworld" in  2018. The album's single "Sicko Mode," became his highest charting solo single after peaking at number one on the Billboard Hot 100 and was nominated for a Grammy.

    In 2023, the album "Utopia", which was released with a visual companion, CIRCUS MAXIMUS, debuted at No.1 on the Billboard 200 chart. 

    The album also earned the rapper a Grammy nomination for Best Album and his first number 1 UK Album spot.
