A civil society group, Concerned Nigerians, has criticized Senator Natasha Akpoti-Uduaghan over her recent allegations against Senate President Godswill Akpabio, describing them as an attempt to tarnish his reputation.

In a statement issued today, the group accused the senator of making unfounded claims to gain public sympathy. They referenced past legal documents, alleging a pattern of emotional manipulation and false accusations for personal gain.

"We are not surprised by her latest antics. This is her usual pattern—using baseless claims to gain public sympathy and discredit others.
"The public should disregard her fabrications against the Senate President," the statement read.
Concerned Nigerians urged the public to remain focused on national development and not be distracted by political controversies.
